Get a taste for Slow Money Thursday, March 25, when Slow Money Alliance Leader Woody Tasch swings into Brave New Books. Tasch, who will keynote the April 21 Slow Money Austin Showcase at City Hall, will discuss his critically acclaimed book, Inquiries into the Nature of Slow Money: Investing as If Food, Farms, and Fertility Mattered. Sharing the stage will be Randy Jewart, director of Austin Green Art and a Slow Money Austin founding member, to talk about what Slow Money means for Austin. Slow Money Austin represented at kickoff to Agriculture 2.0 - 3/17/2010

Scott Collier, managing director of Triton Ventures and a Slow Money Austin founding member, will participate in the Celebrating Community Capital event March 23. This dinnner event kicks off the Agriculture 2.0 conference in Palo Alto, a national gathering to include thought leaders from US Venture Partners, Whole Foods, Kleiner Perkins, RSF Social Finance and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, among others, all working to encourage food system investments that will improve America's food system, generate attractive returns and stimulate creation of new job opportunities.
